JUNIOR PEOPLE MANAGEMENT OF THE PHILIPPINES (JPMAP), established on 1996 by its mother organization, People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), has since become a confederation of the different human resource societies in the different colleges and universities. The main thrust of the organization is to raise the caliber of education and the people management practice through the mentorship provided by the PMAP, thus resulting to a generation of innovative and globally competitive people managers in the nation. Through enhancement programs, off-campus assistance, information dissemination and special events, JPMAP provides opportunity for teamwork and partnerships on matters related to people management. As a national youth organization, it aims to assist its members about matters related to People Management; to guide its members in developing and attaining professional competence; to assist in the development of a strong relationship between the academe and the business world; to have the highest standard of personal integrity through JPMAP and PMAP’s code of ethics, and to develop a strong sense of social responsibility among its members in order to contribute to nation building.
